SUPPLEMENTS
...simple word, but I don’t think many understand why we need to supplement what we eat. At least I didn’t.. until 2001.  So much of our food has lost so much nutritional value by the time it hits our mouths, we are deprived of what we need most from them…VITAMINS & MINERALS. We have all heard those two terms, but do you understand what they do for you?  Vitamins help your body fight off free radicals that are cancel causing agents. You ask...where am I exposed to free radicals? They are everywhere...in the preservatives and pesticides that "protect" our food, in the air we breathe, sun exposure, water we drink...the list goes on.  We NEED proper vitamin and mineral intake to balance our bodies and help protect it from today's modern exposures.  They are also imperative in optimal bodily function. If you want your body to function most effectively, you need proper nutrition. How about weight loss? Vitamins are CRUCIAL!
Let's talk about supplements and weight loss as the majority of us are most intrigued with this topic...The scientific fact is that, in order to lose weight, you need to speed up your metabolism. Eating  a more healthy diet, feeding your metabolism often to keep the coals burning, and supplying your body with proper Vitamin loads, will help your body burn calories most rapidly, and the end result will be a loss of pounds!

The ultimate vitamin for weight loss...
B Vitamins
B-vitamins are responsible for burning the fat and glucose in your body during the digestion process and helps in producing energy. In short, the B-vitamins expedite the metabolism and by doing so, they burn maximum calories. The end result is that there are fewer calories left to pile up as fat!

Vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, vitamin B complex and vitamin C all play a role in ultimate supplementation for shedding LB's.  Here's a rundown on why each are important...
  • Vitamin B2, also known as Riboflavin, is the most effective vitamin in increasing the metabolic rate of your body.
  • Vitamin B3 (which is also known as Niacin) is also responsible for burning fats, proteins and carbohydrate off your body.
  • Vitamin B5 produces energy and increase the rate of metabolism.
  • Vitamin B6 is very important in keeping the thyroid functioning properly
  • Vitamin B12 is also very popular as a metabolism booster and acts as an extra source for energy. This particular vitamin helps you to digest your food faster and quickly burn your fat and glucose.
  • Vitamin C has the ability to increase your body’s potential to oxidize fat, i.e. to burn fat and reduce fatigue.
You can increase your vitamin B intake in a multitude of ways. There are many natural food sources that are loaded with these vitamins. An additional method, that I highly recommend, is a quality supplement in a pill form or drink. My newest favorite is SPARK energy beverage. I order mine from: www.advocare.com.  They have several flavors, it's a functional beverage that tastes great and you will feel and notice the difference right away!
Vitamins are not only essential for survival but, a balanced intake of vitamins can help you in reducing fat and fatigue and maintain a healthy life in good shape.
